Merchandise Pick-Up

You may pick up your furniture at our distribution center

4445 North Atlantic Blvd., Auburn Hills, MI 48326.

For your protection, you will be asked to show a driver's license at the time you pick up your furniture. Should you wish to allow a friend or relative to pick up the furniture please notify us at the point-of-sale in the store. We will help load your vehicle but are not able to help strap down merchandise. We are not responsible for any damage to your vehicle or to transported merchandise. Items may require assembly. You can always call the store and request home delivery of your merchandise. We offer doorstep delivery, or a fee based white glove delivery.

Special Orders

All furniture and mattress custom orders require a non-refundable 25% deposit and cannot be cancelled

Dye lots are not guaranteed to match samples. Order times are based on the current production schedule and cannot be guaranteed. Special orders must be delivered within 2 weeks of notification of their availability. By signing your sales order, you acknowledge these special order policies.

Details Regarding Delivery

We deliver 7 days a week, including same day (with some exceptions for major holidays).

Delivery occurs 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m. or until complete.

Late and same day deliveries occur 4:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. or until complete.

Delivery requests for same day Monday through Sunday must be processed by 2:00 p.m. in-store and 1:00 p.m. online or by phone. If the purchaser is not home for a scheduled delivery or service appointment, Gardner White reserves the right to charge the customer a redelivery fee or service appointment fee. If you need to change a scheduled appointment, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance. In certain areas, deliveries are available on specified days only. Simply enter your zip code in the delivery check box on our website and it will list your delivery options.

Available Adult: Drivers cannot deliver unless someone 18 years or older is at home at the time of delivery.

Doorstep Delivery: Merchandise is dropped off at your home without crossing any thresholds (we will not enter your home). All Items are delivered in factory boxes or wrap and will require assembly. Same service and return policies apply.

Damage: Please inspect your merchandise carefully, noting any defects. All service claims regarding visual damage on a new furniture purchase must be reported to our service department at 248-674-8998 within 48 hours of delivery.

Delivery Time Notification: You will receive an automatic email and text message the day of delivery giving you an estimated arrival window. Be sure your receipt reflects your correct email address and your mobile phone number.

Track your truck: You can track your delivery by going to www.gardner-white.com (then clicking on "delivery" in the header). Enter your phone number/invoice number and you can see the truck's location. This is a great tool for busy families. This real-time tracker is active on the day of your scheduled delivery. The system is updated after your text/email has been received.

We search the globe for the best products at the best prices, and sometimes that means it takes a bit of time for them to be received in our Distribution Center. You will be notified as soon as items are available. Our goal is to deliver as much of your order as we can as soon as we can. Arrival dates are estimates and subject to change.

Mattress Purchases

  • Allow your new bedding to air out. Residual odors from the manufacturing process may be present at first. They are not harmful and will dissipate with time.
  • Use a high-quality washable mattress protector to keep your mattress clean and stain-free.
  • Take time to adjust to your new mattress. It often takes up to 60 days for your body to adjust to a new mattress.
  • Some mattresses will be firmer when delivered in the cold season. Allow 48-72 hours to adapt to your room temperature.
  • Do not remove the law label from your mattress. This is needed to identify your appropriate warranty coverage.
  • All mattresses require proper support. We highly recommend the purchase of the matching foundation or upgrading to a power adjustable base.
  • Most mattresses are one sided and cannot be flipped.
  • We offer at no charge the removal of your old set. This is subject to the condition of the old mattress. Once picked up, your old set is sent for destruction and cannot be retrieved.

Purple If you aren't satisfied with your Purple Mattress, you have 100 days to return or exchange it. You are allowed one exchange. To qualify, you must have slept on it for at least 21 days, and it must be clean and undamaged. You will receive a full refund on your purchase price minus any shipping or other fees. We do not require the purchase of a mattress protection plan to qualify for refunds or exchanges with Purple Mattresses. Warranties: 10-year warranty on all Purple Mattresses, 5-year warranty on Purple foundations, 10-year warranty on Purple mattress protectors, 1-year warranty on sheets and pillows. Free Layaways

We will guarantee our low sale prices for up to 90 days on regularly stocked items. Monthly payments are required. Payments are not refundable. Your layaway payments reserve our low sale prices on the furniture you selected or furniture of similar quality. We do not physically hold merchandise. If your account is inactive for ninety (90) days (no purchase or payment) the account will be converted to a non-expiring Gardner White gift card.

Best Buy® Product Redemption

Once your Gardner White Furniture has been delivered, you will be sent an email from "mysimplemarketplace,” which will navigate you to a website where you can select your promotional product and the fulfillment method. You should complete your redemption request within 14 days of receiving this email. After completing your redemption request, you will receive an email notification regarding your order fulfillment status. If you choose the ship to home option, you will receive email updates, including tracking details. If you choose to pick up the product at a Best Buy store, you will receive an email notification from Best Buy when your product is available to pick up. Please note, Gardner White and Best Buy® may change the brands and specifications of electronics offerings at any time. We can't guarantee you will receive any particular brand of television. MasterCard Reward Cards

Promotional gift cards (Mastercard, Omaha Steaks, Starbucks, etc.) will be sent electronically to the email on file. If you qualify for a reward card, within 2-3 weeks after your purchase has been delivered you will receive an e-voucher code via email from info@selectyourcard.biz. If you have not received an email, please check your spam filter. Once you have your unique voucher code(s), visit www.SelectYourRewardCard.biz and order your reward card. Gardner White Free Furniture Gift Cards:

You will receive your Gift Card via USPS within 10 business days after your delivery, to the delivery address provided.

All Gardner White promotional gift cards, electronics, and gift with purchase items received with the purchase of mattresses or furniture are final sales. Once these gift cards or items are issued, they are nonrefundable. If you receive a refund or exchange the cost of your television/gift card/gift will be deducted from the refund or exchange allowance.

Reselect & Cancellations

One-Week Furniture Reselect or Cancellation Option (does not apply to bedding): If within 7 days of delivery, you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you are welcome to select another item or cancel your purchase for a refund. All returns and reselections are subject to a handling fee of twenty-five percent (25%) of the sales price. Merchandise reselection or refund is available only if the original merchandise is returned in new condition, inspection may be required. The following exclusions apply: pillows, special orders, floor samples, electronics, additional gifts and discounts, and AS IS merchandise. Furniture protection, mattress protection, adjustable bases, mattresses, electronics, delivery charges and gift cards are not refundable.

Refunds: All refunds are issued by our corporate office by check. Refund checks are processed weekly and issued to purchaser only, then mailed USPS to the address provided on order. Bankcard/credit card refunds will be credited to the original card. Absolutely no cash refunds will be issued. Please allow 10 to 14 business days to receive your check refund and up to 72 hours for credit card refund.

One-Year Furniture Warranty

Most manufacturers do not extend their warranty to include upholstery fabrics of any kind; however, Gardner White will inspect and repair all upholstery related problems for one year after the date of delivery. Warranties are not valid if the merchandise has been moved from the original delivery address or is used in a commercial setting. Labor charges may apply after one year. Mattresses are warrantied in accordance with manufacturing guidelines that Gardner White Furniture cannot change. We maintain our own staff of professional technicians. They can provide furniture repairs with free in-home service for up to one year after delivery. We also stand behind all manufacturer's warranties with free parts and labor for one full year, except for floor sample and "AS-IS" merchandise. Floor samples are not included and have no warranty. It is your responsibility to inspect your furniture promptly after receiving it. All service claims for visible damage on a new furniture purchase must be called into our client services department at (248) 674-8998 within 48 hours of delivery.
