To Members of the Extended Gardner-White Family:
2020 has been different. We have all shopped differently than in the past, so we at Gardner-White had to work differently. We have brought in merchandise and gotten creative in the context of a strained supply chain to find furniture you’ll love. We expanded the ways you can shop virtually from your home. We opened new stores.
We are also working differently as operate throughout COVID. We wear masks. We using sanitizing spray twice daily. We wipe down high-contact surfaces. We go through a daily health screening. Our warehouse and delivery services are up and running, while observing enhanced health protocols to help keep you and our team members safe.
The impact of this pandemic is far from over, but is already being felt throughout our community. Gardner-White is proud to be in a position to help our community, and is:
- Donating mattresses in partnership with Lighthouse and Serta
- Holding food drives in all of our showrooms for families in need in partnership with Lighthouse
- Providing transportation with our fleet for emergency food donations
- Holding blood drives in partnership with the American Red Cross
- Holding Adopt-A-Family with Volunteers for America to provide holiday gifts for children
This is our first year as the presenting sponsor of America’s Thanksgiving Parade. This parade will be virtual, but like so many things in 2020 is just one more event that we are now participating in from our living rooms. We are happy the show is going on, and hope it provides some normalcy and brings smiles to faces across metro Detroit.
