Gardner White has extended its sponsorship again, this time through 2031, after announcing in September that it would sponsor the parade through 2025.
“One thing I love about the parade is it is the best in the country. Any time you do something better than everyone else in the country, I want to be on that wagon,” Gardner White President Rachel Stewart said.
The parade is so important to the city, she said, and extending Gardner White’s title sponsorship gives The Parade Co. some stability going into future years, she said.
“I think it’s a great moment when it brings everyone together and there’s no divisiveness. … Everyone is just together on the streets of Detroit or on TV. We could use more of that in this world.”
