On Wednesday, August 31st, we partnered up with the Volunteers of America Michigan and Fox 2 Detroit to host a backpack drive to help prepare children in our community for the coming school year. In addition to backpacks we accepted donations of school supplies, classroom supplies, desks, and more.
This year’s Operation Backpack: Stuff A Bus was a great success and we saw donations coming in throughout the day. We want to thank Fox 2 Detroit for their coverage of the drive, the Michigan State Police for their generous donation, and the Volunteers of America for their continued support of our Michigan communities.
