Pet of the Week: Bonnie & Clyde

Each week, we feature a Pet of the Week available for adoption from K9 Stray Rescue League in Oxford, MI.

Introducing Bonnie & Clyde, a bonded pair of Chihuahua Mixes looking for their forever home. 🐶

Meet Bonnie & Clyde

This adorable pair are bonded and must be adopted together—they cannot handle being apart! Bonnie and Clyde like other chill dogs that are not going to jump all over them. If you have a gentle, low-key dog at home they would love to meet them and add them to their cuddle puddle!

These two are crate trained (and are crated together when their foster mom leaves the house and also at bedtime). They are sensitive to loud sounds and startle easily so a calm, gentle home is best for them. They also require a fenced-in yard or secure harnesses to keep them safe when they are startled outside.

Bonnie and Clyde would be happiest in a quiet home without young children, so teenagers and above is probably best.

Perks about adopting a bonded pair of pooches:
– They will settle in easier—change is easier with your best friend by your side
– It’s double the love, cuteness, and cuddles!
– They do better together when you have to leave the home
– You’ll be giving 2 dogs a second chance at a wonderful life. Bonded pairs become extra stressed and anxious without their lifelong best friend by their side. It is very important for their mental health that they find a loving home together.
