On Thursday, August 26th, Gardner White hosted Operation Backpack: Stuff A Bus at their Macomb store location. Working with Volunteers of America Michigan, Forefathers Grooming, and Fox 2 Detroit, school supplies were collected for local children in need to start the school year off on the right foot.
Over 50 fully stuffed backpacks were donated during the event. Those who could not make it out to the Macomb store still have the chance to donate to Operation Backpack at any Gardner White location now through September 1st. More information on the school supply drive can be found here.
In addition to hosting Stuff A Bus, Gardner White donated $1,500 to Volunteers of America Michigan for Operation Backpack.
