Kids Kicking Cancer

Kids Kicking Cancer, a non-profit founded in Michigan in 1999, is dedicated to using martial arts therapy to empower and ease pain in children with cancer, sickle cell and other life-threatening illnesses. All services are provided at no charge to families served, including classes, uniforms, and, in some locations, transportation to and from classes and events.

AREAS SERVED: State of Michigan, Wayne County, Oakland County, Macomb County, Washtenaw County

AGES SERVED: 3-24 years

– Single-serve wrapped healthy snacks & juice boxes.
– Gas cards & gift cards to local stores (Michael’s, Costco, Target, etc).

– Hats, gloves, mittens & colorful socks.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES: Volunteers needed for events, office work, drivers with CDL, Black Belt martial artists for working with children

Gift of a Helping Hand Charitable Trust

Our mission is to provide safe and affordable housing for veterans, domestic violence survivors and their children and homeless women and their children. We foster technology, health education, career and financial educational training computer classes for economically disadvantaged youths, girls, women, veterans, domestic violence survivors and underprivileged individuals in helping them to become self-sufficiency and learn the skills for career advancement. In addition, we provide basic needs and care packages to thousands of families, veterans and individuals all around the world requesting our assistance during these challenging times.

Aubrey has been with Gardner White for 2.5 years and holds a variety of roles including writer, content creator, social media marketer, and graphic designer. Outside of work she enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, and playing video games.
