Pet of the Week – Reba

Each week, we feature a Pet of the Week from K9 Stray Rescue League in Oxford.

Meet Reba, a Hound Mix. 🐶

What a truly beautiful girl Reba is! She weighs 47 pounds and is estimated to be between the age of 1-3.

This sweetie likes to crawl in your lap and give you kisses, who wouldn’t love that! She is all wiggly and is very connecting once she gets to know you a little. Reba does need an active home, maybe a family that loves to go on long walks and go exploring, so she can use her nose! It would be best if she had a fenced in yard though, she really does love to follow her houndy nose and we want to keep her safe.

If you are interested in Reba, please fill out an application and we will be in touch. Adopters need to be at least 21 years old, thank you.

We have exciting news to share about Reba and 4 other dogs at our rescue! They are participating in a Teacher’s Pet program in which they travel twice a week to Crossroads, an at youth risk center, and are paired with a youth. They will be working with our pups on some obedience training and giving them some much needed one on one time. What a wonderful program, we are so happy about it and thrilled for our dogs. Reba can be met and a deposit placed on her. November 23rd is the day she can go home. 🏠🐾💕
