Volunteers of America Michigan
Volunteers of America Michigan serves as the largest private provider to veterans in the state. Also, we focus on serving Michigan’s most vulnerable with our social service programs for poor families and vulnerable seniors. Services include temporary and longterm housing; employment, training and job placement; affordable housing for seniors and the disabled; homeless shelter and case management; and medical career education and job placement for welfare recipients. Seasonal programs include Operation Backpack and the holiday giving program, Adopt A Family.

Angela Hospice
Since its founding by the Felician Sisters in 1985, Angela Hospice has been dedicated to improving the quality of life for the terminally ill. Through compassionate prenatal, pediatric, and adult hospice patients, Angela Hospice serves over 2,000 patients per year, while providing supportive care to family and loved ones as well. Angela also offers free support groups, workshops, and counseling for those in the community struggling through grief.
