Pet of the Week – Pluto

Each week, we will be featuring a Pet of the Week from K9 Stray Rescue League in Oxford.

Meet Pluto, a Boxer & Hound Mix.

Pluto is a handsome big boy weighing 65 pounds. He is playful, energetic and his favorite things are toy ropes, balls and kongs. It would be wonderful if his new family had a lot of toys on hand! He is also a cuddle bug and never minds hanging out on the couch with you. Pluto walks well on a leash, so he is ready to go on a lot wonderful strolls. He is very smart and is always ready to explore and learn new things. Pluto needs an adult only home with an experienced adopter and someone who can be a leader. Pluto can be a little skittish when things fall or with unfamiliar items and noises too; another dog in the home would be ideal since this really seems to have helped him. One of our wonderful volunteers took him home to foster, so if you are interested in Pluto, please fill out an application at K9stray.com and his foster mom will be in touch. He is doing great in his foster home and loves the other dogs and does fine with her cat as well.

If you would like to see Pluto, please email K9StrayRescue@yahoo.com and an appointment can be made to see him.
