Each week, we will be featuring a Pet of the Week from K9 Stray Rescue League in Oxford.
Meet Ophelia, a Terrier Mix.
Ophelia has been with K-9 Stray Rescue since January 2020. She is now in a foster home, but would love to have a home of her own.
This sweet little lady is 9 months old and weighs 37 pounds. Ophelia was so incredibly good for her photo shoot, just look at her lovely sit. She did like to take little breaks though for some belly rubs, which we were happy to oblige! She is just so darn cute too, look at that adorable face. Ophelia is very connecting and craves affection, she loves to be touching you. She is mouthy and will need leadership, basic obedience and an adopter who can set limits for her. She would do best in a home where any children are at least 13 years old due to her mouthy-ness. Ophelia is truly just the sweetest girl, but she is all puppy and would love an active home to get out her silly puppy playfulness; a fenced in yard would be best. Ophelia loves other dogs but her play style is rowdy. She would benefit with a confident/dominant dog to show her how to best act around other dogs. She can’t wait to be a part of a family.
If you would like to see Ophelia, please email K9StrayRescue@yahoo.com and an appointment can be made to see her.
