Horses Heal Hearts of Michigan, Inc.
We provide equine therapy experiences for children and adults with disabilities and those who have lost a parent. We also work with senior citizen and veterans’ groups to uplift the human spirit.
AREAS SERVED: Wayne County, Oakland County, Macomb County, Livingston County, Genesee County
AGES SERVED: All ages
WISH LIST: Helmets, picnic tables, 8-foot tables, chairs and outside games.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES: Must be 18 or older to be an aide walker with the horses. Ages 10 and up can assist with activities, grooming and helping with helmet selections for the riders.
AGE OF VOLUNTEERS: Adults and children 10 and up (children must be accompanied by an adult)

We work with survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault to regain control of their lives.

WISH LIST: Cleaning supplies, paper products, dish & laundry soap, food, diaper & pull ups.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES: Help needed in our resale shop, office duties, some help at other locations
