Jalen Rose Leadership Academy
The mission of Operation Graduation is to create life changing opportunities for underserved youth in metro Detroit through scholarships and education programs that support the Jalen Rose Leadership Academy (JRLA). JRLA is an open enrollment, tuition free public charter high school on the Northwest side of Detroit. The Academy currently serves over 400 ninth through twelfth grade scholars (and over 400 alumni) and provides a leadership focused education that engages and inspires youth to achieve at the rigorous level necessary to ultimately graduate with a college degree.

WISH LIST: Financial support for our capital campaign to build a high school gym as well as soft costs associated with this project (painting services, lockers, weight room equipment, bleachers, water fountains, flooring, etc). In addition, we would like to add window roll shades to existing classrooms for added security.

Neighborhood House
Neighborhood House, a nonprofit human service organization founded by communities of faith in 1968, assists our neighbors during times of hardship. We collaborate with the community and other social service providers to help those neighbors in financial crisis toward self-sustainability. We assist families and individuals in crisis move toward long-term success through rent and utility financial assistance, food, clothing, counseling, a bike program, transportation services, and educational classes. Neighborhood House believes that neighbors helping neighbors is the model of a strong community.
AREAS SERVED: Rochester, Rochester Hills, Auburn Hills, Oakland Township, and Addison Township
AGES SERVED: All ages.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES: We welcome and need your assistance at Neighborhood House! Volunteers share their time and talents on a regular basis at the Clothes Closet, Food Pantry, and at our Main Office. We also have opportunities for volunteers to help with special projects and events. In 2018, our volunteers gave over 15,400 hours to help their neighbors in need!
