#Charituesday Contest: Friends for Animals of Metro Detroit vs. Macomb Habitat for Humanity

Friends for Animals of Metro Detroit

The Friends are dedicated to the rescue and protection of animals in the community, while inspiring healthy relationships between people and their companion animals.

AREAS SERVED: State of Michigan

AGES SERVED: Must be 18 years or older to adopt

WISH LIST:
– Dry and Canned Cat & Kitten Food
– Dry and Canned Pedigree Dog Food
– Flea Prevention
– Collars & Leashes
– Dog & Cat Toys

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES: In Shelter Animal Volunteers – 16 years or older, must commit to a minimum of 4 hours a month.

Fundraising Support Volunteers – 18 years or older, must commit to a minimum of 15 hours a year. 

Youth Volunteers – 12-15 years of age, who will work with an adult mentor, in a group setting in the shelter to complete cleaning and crafting projects, and socializing with the animals.

AGE OF VOLUNTEERS: Adults 18 and older, Adults and children 15 and up (children must be accompanied by an adult), Children 12 and up (must volunteer with Youth Mentor) 

Macomb Habitat for Humanity

Macomb Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit organization that provides homes, hope and community to low-income residents.

AREAS SERVED: Macomb County

AGES SERVED: All ages
