Boys Hope Girls Hope of Detroit

Boys Hope Girls Hope of Detroit was founded in 1984 to provide a holistic intervention for young people with great need, and even greater determination. By no fault of their own, some children are victims of desperate circumstances- poverty, homelessness, neighborhood violence or severe family stress. Yet, despite overwhelming odds, they demonstrate an inspiring capacity and desire to excel, live their lives to the fullest and set an example for others. BHGH Detroit offers 3 effective programs to nurture Detroit’s youth: Hope Academy, Hope House, and College Success.
