Easterseals Michigan

Since 1920 Easterseals Michigan has worked to change the way the world defines and views disability by making profound, positive differences in people’s lives every day. Currently nearly 12,500 people turn to Easterseals Michigan for a variety of services for a wide range of disabilities including autism, PTSD, depression, substance abuse, mental illness, ADD, ADHD, behavioral disorders, senior services and much more.

AREAS SERVED: Oakland County, Macomb County, Genesee County, Kent County


– Gift cards (major grocery & retail stores, drug stores, home improvement, gas stations)
– New or gently used toys (used in autism services)
– Arts and crafts supplies (paints, colored pencils, yarn, construction paper, etc.)
– Tickets to family-friendly attractions (sporting events, zoo, aquarium, museums, etc.)
– All donations stay in Michigan and serve residents of Michigan.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES: Help with fundraising events: on-site registration, event set up, clean up, helping children and young adults with disabilities or special needs play baseball – and more.

AGE OF VOLUNTEERS: Adults and children 14 and up (children must be accompanied by an adult) 

The William Root, Jr. Foundation

Our mission is to be able to have the funds to provide college scholarships to graduates of Dundee (MI) High School who have participated in the Future Farmers of America during the high school career, in memory of our father, William Root Jr.


WISH LIST:  To be able to raise enough funds each year to be able to give a scholarship to every student that applies.
