Here we go, folks. The Michigan State Spartans have made it to the Rose Bowl again for the first time since 1988. Way back then they faced the USC Trojans and ended up winning 20-17. This time around, they will be taking on Stanford New Years Day at 5 p.m. and, naturally, we are tying in some great giveaways with the big event.
Free Furniture and a $500 Gift Certificate
Wait, what did that header say? Free furniture and a $500 gift certificate? Yep, that’s right. Wear green and white to any of our Gardner-White stores on 12/31 or 1/1, then when you make a purchase we will automatically enter you to win everything you bought FOR FREE. In other words, if you buy a sexy, new zebra-print rug you’ll be entered to win back the exact amount you paid for it. The more you spend, the more you could get for free.
Now, how about that $500 gift certificate? Get your chance to win by guessing the score to the Rose Bowl, which you can do with these easy steps:
There ya go, two ways to win that are easy as pie to enter. (They also don’t take nearly as long to enter as pie does to bake, so that is a definite plus.)
Not a Spartan Fan?
That’s okay, we know some of you out there wouldn’t be caught dead wearing Sparty’s precious green and white. So, even though we encourage our fellow Michiganders to support our home team by wearing its colors to be entered in the contest, we will be entering everyone who makes a purchase on 12/31 and 1/1 despite the clothes on their back. But, we will have the game on in our showrooms so you don’t miss any of the action while you shop. Come check out our Year End Sale & Clearance!
Store hours for New Years Eve and New Years Day will be 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Your go-to guide for finding deserving organizations and charities.
Garder-White Furniture, WJBK Fox 2 and Fresh 100.3 are proud to present the 2013 – 2014 Giving Guide. This annual resource guide highlights the needs of local charitable organizations and is designed to make it easy for you to make a difference.
Many in our community struggle every day. Michigan’s poverty rates are among the highest in the nation with roughly one out of every four children living in poverty. The thing is, hope can come from just one person; one donation. Small actions can make a big difference, especially during the holidays.
What does the Giving Guide offer?
The giving guide connects you to the agencies and people who need your help. It’s a charity wish list of items and services that nonprofits need. Some are big ticket items that aren’t in a nonprofit budget like computers or office repairs. Other wishes are for items like clothing, toys or volunteers that the nonprofits need every day.
The Giving Guide’s index lets you search by organization name or by specific need so you can find the one you are most able to help. There’s even a list of charity fundraisers for those who like to give back by getting out, such as 5k walks, food drives and more.
The amazing nonprofits in this giving guide do so much for so many, but ours is a community in crisis and they can’t do it alone. Stop by any of our stores and pick up a giving guide and get to know how you can help the agencies serving our community. You have the power to make a tremendous impact on these organizations and the countless people they serve, no matter how large or small a contribution.
