Assistance League of Southeastern Michigan

Assistance League of Southeastern Michigan, founded in 1993 and serving Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties, is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3)hands on , all member volunteer organization whose purpose is to clothe, feed, educate and comfort children and adults through community-based programs. The biggest outreach of the year is a program called Operation School Bell in which school children in need are given the clothes they
need for school.

During our school distributions we need people to help service the children, load and unload the trucks which contain clothing.

Hope For Hearts

Hope For Heart’s mission is to raise funds for research, treatment and support for the children and their families affected by Congenital Heart Defects (CHDs). Our goal is to work closely with Children’s Hospital of Michigan donating funds for specific research and provide Hope for families of CHD survivors and comfort to those whose loved ones have lost their battles. Additionally, and most important-inform the public of symptoms of CHD and possibly save lives.

We always need help at their events; our Annual craft and vendor show and our Annual Dinner and Silent Auction. We appreciate help in setting up, serving lunch, 50/50 raffles, working our silent auction table, helping at our awareness table selling our cook book, annual calendar or t-shirts. A big area we always need help in is soliciting for donations for our auction items and finding Table sponsors or Corporate sponsors.
